Just a note reg the marijuana vs. alcohol.. As a 29 year old female with alcoholic cirhosis (end stage, i'e "needs a miracle", yahda yahda—- and btw, before any major criticism as to how I "did this to myself".. yes, I did. I've been straight sober, 95%. It was a mix of alcohol, sleeping pills and vodka. It was the beginning of no return).. I have/did have a habit, recreationcally and prescribtion. I think in these cases, while it may be swapping one habit for another, a few puffs a day of a hybrid/indica has never caused me nor anyone I've ever known anything worse than temporary giggle fits or ridicous conversation in general.
That said, Dr. Mike, I appreciate your channel. Informative foremost, but as Im currently in hospital again, I've watched a nonstop marathon of house, which led me here. And you make a sick girl smile very much. I loved what you said about being "alert [but] not paranoid. I want to put that on a t-shirt. 😉
i smoke marijuana for chronic pain (illegally, i don't have a medical card yet) but i think that it's a really good med for chronic pain
I honestly believe that you should never say quiet or calm or slow in any work setting cause then that's when you get flooded with work. It's almost like the universe is saying "well here something to do" and slaps you in the face when all you wanted was a calm or quiet day.
Marijuana can cause a psychosis too, I think that’s a very important aspect

I have to fall asleep and sleep on my left side… I can't fall asleep in any other positions.
But my lower back kills me every day. Specially my left side.
(Have also been told I have HUGE knots in my shoulders and lower back)
dr Mike. Look at the research done in Israel. they have been researching for more than 75 years now and they use it in their hospitals. we dropped the ball here, but they have done some research.
